Travel Is a Wonderful Way to Spend Your Time

We are each given a finite amount of time, and how you choose to spend your time, matters. There is a great quote by William Penn that states, "Time is what we want most,
But what we use the worst." This is especially true today, when people are so busy working, multitasking, and spending so much time on tech and streaming devices.
Research has shown that travel can be a healthy and transformative way to spend your time. Luckily, so many people have travel already on their to-do list. Some want to check items off their bucket list, others want to relax/recharge/reconnect, while others want to celebrate life's milestones with the ones they love. There are so many fulfilling ways to spend your time.
We know there is too much to see in this world than we have time for, so it's important to narrow the list to include what matters most to you. At Burr Travel, we love helping people discover how to make the most of their precious vacation time.
Here are some great suggestions based on recent client travels:
Take the kids and grandkids to Europe to experience your family's ancestry
Get married in Tuscany and honeymoon in Sardinia
Hike a volcano in Costa Rica
Experience a total solar eclipse from the deck of a cruise ship
Step on the 7th continent, Antarctica, and experience a true bucket list expedition
Watch grizzly bears catch salmon in Alaska
Swim with sea turtles in Maui
Spend a week watching your son teach your grandson how to fish
Eat your way through Tokyo Ramen Street in Japan
Take an African Safari with your loved ones and experience a truly amazing destination together

When planning your next adventure, consider what kind of traveler you are. Some travelers enjoy touring to watch the locals and see the top "must-see" attractions, while others enjoy a more immersive experience, interacting with locals and taking a cooking class or swimming at the local watering hole. It is always important to include some free time for spontaneity and exploration - many times, those are the most memorable moments.

I recently attended a national travel conference in Las Vegas with some of my Agents. The theme was "Travel Makes a Difference," and we were shown several client testimonials and their personal trip videos. It was amazing to see how travel made them FEEL. The look of wonder and joy on their faces as they experienced something beautiful and new was incredible. It made me remember how powerful travel can be - it can offer transformative life experiences and bring loved ones closer together through shared experiences.
Some of life's most lasting memories are made during vacations. But travel can also be something many people put off- ' I'll go when I have the time,' or 'I'll travel when I retire.' Well, this is a friendly reminder to go sooner rather than later and spend your time wisely.
