Burr Travel is a full-service travel agency in Northport, New York, specializing in luxury river and ocean cruises and escorted tours. Our advisors plan river cruises with AmaWaterways and Scenic, luxury ocean voyages with Silversea, Oceania and Azamara, and escorted and private tours with Tauck, Collette, Abercrombie & Kent and Kensington, and they have sailed and toured many of these itineraries themselves. Every trip includes concierge planning: a pre-trip consultation, air and transfer coordination, pre- and post-cruise hotel stays, dining and excursion reservations, and support while clients are traveling. Burr Travel is a member of Travel Leaders Network and has served Long Island travelers since 1961.
Heritage Business Award
We are incredibly proud and humbled to share that Burr Travel has been selected to receive the Heritage Business Award from the Northport Historical Society and Museum. The award was presented at our 65th anniversary open house on October 7, 2026, with the Northport Chamber of Commerce joining in the celebration.
This recognition is especially meaningful because Burr Travel isn’t simply a travel agency that has been around for 65 years. It is a legacy built by generations of people who cared deeply about their clients, their community and the relationships they created along the way.
